Hello Pastor Ron, Thank you so-o-o much for your answer
to that question. I never thought of it that way !
That takes a lot off my mind. I appreciate your taking
the time to answer me, and right away too ! And
answering with the Matthew 11:28-30 verses really
helps. Blessings, Robert and Karen 12/31/06

De Colores, Ron, our wonderful Savior has heard His
people praying for Johnny. He slept through the night
for the first time in 3 weeks! When the doctors checked
his blood in the morning it had gone back to NORMAL!!
Praise God! While some may worry that the doctors do not
know why this happened, we can give all the praise and
glory to our Lord Jesus and rejoice in his saving power.
Through tears of joy I thank God for hearing the prayers
of those that are part of this ministry. James 5:15
AMEN! Dan 12/28/06

Dear Pastor Ron and Gen: This has been such a hard
Christmas season. We have lost two people dear to our
family. First, Edith, my daughter-in-law's mother, who
lost her battle with pancreatic and lung cancer, and
this past week, my brother's childhood friend, Bill
Mitchell. I know that you know Bill. I have so many
beautiful and funny memories of Bill as a teenager
(some I can't repeat, ha ha) And, now, these prayer
requests absolutely break my heart, especially the one
about the 4 year old boy, Johnny. I will certainly
pray for a miracle here. These requests are so hard at
this time of the year. Thanks to the prayer team for
all their prayers for so many, and especially for Edith
who will be sorely missed....she was a special lady and
had a wonderful sense of humor, right up to the end.
Have a blessed Christmas. Diana 12/26/06

Hi Ron, thank you for this prayer ministry. I write to
ask for prayer for a little boy at Children's Hospital.
His name is Johnny (4). He is having a relapse of a rare
immune disease and is in need of a miracle from our
Savior. Only Jesus knows what is wrong. The doctors
can't figure it out. He went home after a long battle
with this thing, but it has gripped his little body
again. His family believes in Jesus and is asking for
nothing short of a miracle for their beautiful little
boy. He is so dear to us. He never complains, even after
all he has been through. Lord, rescue little Johnny. You
are his only hope. Show us Your power and your mercy,
Jesus. Dan 12/24/06

Please pray that the Lord will continue to heal my body;
if it's His will- I'm continuing to have on-going side
effects from cancer treatment, that was completed 1 1/2

with a grateful heart; for all that Christ has provided.

a lady in an internet chat room has health problems. In
addition, her nephew was just diagnosed with cancer. A
guy came into the chat room and said, "Keep that Jesus

I am sitting here in tears just the thought of someone
helping us is overwhelming me. Our lives are in such an
uproar Nick's wife of 1 year left him yesterday. He's
been in the hospital with a very serious surgery and now
all he can do at the present is grieve and grieve when
he needs to concentrate on his own healing. Please pray
for this family including his wife Kristen as I believe
she needs GOD direction. Again, thank you so much for
everything!! Pastor Ron you have been such an
inspiration to me as I know you have a whole host of
people praying for us. Deeply grateful, Ginny

Thank you for this sermon
(Obadiah 11-15).
I have always tried not to "gloat" over the misfortune
of others, but at times, when it is someone who has
acted badly towards me.... I have been guilty of
thinking "well they deserved it" This sermon made me
sit up and think about my inner thoughts at times.
Thank you for making me want to be better and to glorify
God. Wish I didn't fail so miserably at times.....
Blessings, Diana 11/4/06

Here is the latest on Vicki, she has Gallbladder
problems, she is in St Jude Hospital in Fullerton and
she goes in for a procedure in the morning. They are
going down through her mouth an into her gallbladder to
remove some stones I think, I don't quite understand how
that works. Then they are going to place a Stint
somewhere in the Gallbladder to the Pancreas. Seems
there is a blockage in the Pancreas also. Maybe some
stones in the Pancreas. Please pray for her. Scott

Ron - I was both pleased and challenged when you asked
if I would contribute studies, or messages ( I feel I
lack authority to call them sermons ) to the website. I
kinda sat on the whole idea and prayed some and have
finally arrived at a place where I believe God has given
a nudge ( a nudge from Him is a very big thing ).
Starting with Psalm 17 and v17 riveted me, so I've
written some thoughts on it. If I can figure out how to
en-WORD it I'll email to you. Otherwise I'll rely, as
always, on the pigeons. It may take two or three birds.
I welcome your editorial input as brother, editor,
pastor and all round good guy. Thank you for the
opportunity and thanks to God for the desire to share
His word. Stephen 10/31/06

I am in the process of refinancing my house, and could
really use some prayer backing. There is too much
involved to try to explain it all, but please pray for
favor and open doors. This refinance will take care of a
pretty critical situation for me. So far, I feel God's
hand in every step I've taken, but I'm feeling that He
is telling me to ask for prayer support. Thank you!

Hello it is Ginny. Long time no talk. I continue to
read your emails. I saw this special prayer request and
I wanted to know if again you could send out another
very special prayer request. We've spoken many times of
my 24 year old quadriplegic son Nick. 10/26 he is going
to have to have very delicate surgery. He firmed an
ulcerative wound in Oct '06 which will not heal and now
requires surgery. He will be in the hospital anywhere
from 4-9 weeks. PLEASE EVERYONE PRAY NICK'S SURGERY IS
A SUCCESS AND HAS FULL RECOVERY cause if he does after 1
year in bed he will now be able to go back into his
wheel chair and live life. His 8 week recovery he will
not be able to move at all, so please pray for patience
for me as I will be right by his side taking care of
him. I will be on FMLA non paid, so please pray all
bills, his and mine, somehow from God get paid. thank
you all so very very much!! 10/26/06

I'm writing a Bible study on the Book of James and am

Dear Ron: Please put on your prayer chain for a very
good friend of mine and sister-in -the-Lord. She is a
wonderful Born-Again-Christian who has done a lot for
me, and she recently lost a very good job, and is
currently going on Unemployment, but needs another good
job and money for insurance (it's running out from her
old job). She needs something that will feed her
faith. In Him, Marilyn 10/22/06

Father, I lift before you my friend and co-worker Doug.
He has taken an extended leave of absence from work as
of today. His wife and high school sweetheart, Debbie,
is dealing with cancer and has started hospice care.
They are both believers. Doug will miss Debbie so
very much. Father, please provide for them and their
daughters. Comfort them now and should you choose to
call Debbie home give them courage and strength in the
days ahead. Surround them with love and Agape. Don

Dear Ron: That was sure a “round about” way to make your
point. I thought, while reading the first paragraph or
two, where is he going with this? This one seemed
lengthy and had a few curves (somewhat different from
your usual “to the point”). Don’t get me wrong, I
am not complaining. I read the whole thing and intend to
weave some of it, the “GPS” part and the “friends who
help” part into my Kairos talk about Discovery. These
will be great additions to what and how the Holy Spirit
leads people to “discover” Jesus and the Bible. Thanks
for your faithfulness. Don A. 10/18/06

I have 2 questions for clarification. 1. I HAVE BEEN
TAUGHT THAT COMING TO CHRIST,BY FAITH, THE MERITS OF HIS
BLOOD SACRIFICE HAS CANCELED MY SIN DEBT, PAST,PRESENT
AND FUTURE, THAT I AM ETERNALLY SECURE IN CHRIST, THAT I
AM NOW A CHILD OF GOD AND THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH
WORKS. IN THESE VERSES WHERE PAUL SPEAKS ABOUT RUNNING
THE RACE ACCORDING TO THE RULES TO GET THE PRIZE PLUS HE
SPEAKS OF "I KEEP MY BODY UNDER AND BRING IT INTO
SUBJECTION". THE NIV EXPRESSES IT THIS WAY "I BEAT MY
BODY". PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS IS NOT SAYING THAT
I MUST DO THESE ACTS TO ADD TO THE FINISHED WORK OF
JESUS CHRIST. 2. WHAT IS PAULS TEACHING IN VERSE 27
WHERE HE SAYS "THAT I MIGHT BE DISQUALIFIED'? IS HE
TALKING ABOUT HIS SALVATION. I AM A CHRISTIAN, I STUDY
THE BIBLE BUT WHENEVER I READ VERSES LIKE THIS AND JOHN
15:1-3 WHERE JOHN SPEAKS OF CUTTING OFF AND BURNING
BRANCHES IT SETS ME BACK. I KNOW THERE IS AN
EXPLAINATION OF THE TRUE MEANING OF THESE VERSES. WILL
YOU PLEASE LIFT MY CLOUD AN E-MAIL THE CORRECT MEANING
OF THESE VERSES. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE WILLIAM By
the way I found your material on your website.

Praise: I recently got a 1/4 inch lift put inside the
heal area of my left shoe and 3/4 inch lift put on the
outside of my shoe. So far this is helping me to walk
better since my left leg is now an inch shorter from the
car accident. I am able to use a 1/2 walker when I go
out instead of a full walker. Blessings.

I wanted to send out a prayer request for my next door
neighbor Bill Johnson, I just had breakfast with him
today and we talked about his thoughts and my beliefs.
He is an agnostic and flat out refuses to believe in
anything that has to do with the Christian faith. Prayer
warriors let him have it and please pray expecting to
see a miracle in this man’s life, pray that the Lord
will do a MIGHTY work and that Bill would in his
lifetime come to a saving faith in our King Jesus
Christ. Zach 10/13/06

Wonderful sermon ("Walking"). Char

Dear sir, I have two questions for you that maybe you
can help me understand. I recently read the book of
revelations and reading you website on the translations
for better understanding. I wonder though that for
awhile i kept hearing how we are living in the
revelation; and how the war in iraq (these wars all over
religion) and semtember 11th and many more and how i
have heard that it is talked about in revelations but
when i read this book i did not understand where it
talks about these things. So can you help me understand
this so that it will not pull on me any longer. Also if
my partner in life does not go to church but prays and
claims that he is saved and loves the lord but constatly
ignores me when i talk to him about the bible or things
will this cast me into hell. I know that if i am saved
then i will dwell in heaven and i am saved i just don't
know what to do with my partner to get him to open up
his heart. needing advice, DaCyndle

Dear Ron and Gen: I really enjoyed this study
(sermon 10/1/06)...I
know the Lord will provide my every need, and He has
assured me that the spies saw giants in the promised
land, but He (the Lord) is greater than any giants
making the giants look like grasshoppers. So I am
depending on the greatness and awesomeness of the Lord,
as my rock, and fortress, and I am sure He will sustain
me. Thank you for your prayers, Marilyn

... Our budget for language school is so little that we
are having a hard time finding someone to teach us.
Most of my team is fluent as they have lived in Ecuador
and Mexico before, but my Spanish is elementary. To
effectively minister to people, I would like to be able
to speak the language. So if you could be praying for me
that would be great. God is so good. I thank him for
this month. I can hardly believe a month has passed. It
was hard. A lot of tears, but even more growth. I cannot
wait to see what else is in store. Thank you for being a
blessing to me and for all the support. Kathleen

On this weeks prayer list God is having me pray for
Tammy who was diagnosed with a form of lupus. He is
having me pray that if it was misdiagnosed that it would
be found out and corrected. God laid on my heart to pray
for a daughter of a friend of mine who was being treated
for lupus. The daughter kept getting worse. The daughter
was led to change doctor's and he said her symptoms were
that of arsenic poisoning. They checked her for that and
sure enough that is what she had. Sometimes lupus
symptoms can come from heavy metal or chemical toxicity.
I will keep calling on our God who knows all and sees
all to give proper direction for her. Linda

I would like to say thank you so much to this ministry

A praise
report - A patient
in the tower was bitter and unhappy on the inside.
I gave her a Christian book about "positive thinking."
A few days later, the lady's face was remarkably
changed. She said, "It answered so many of my
questions." Her nurse was surprised at the change
in the patient and asked me, "What did you DO to that
woman?" Barbara 9/26/06

I was reading this (The Witness) as I was studying 2 Cor.

for me. Thank you and may God continue to bless this

I could use your prayers - my muscles and back are
giving me a ton of trouble. I went to the doctor and
they're going to look into a new disorder called CAA -
that is nerve damage in the spine caused by epidurals
given during the birthing process. This may be what has
been causing my legs to hurt. Pray the doctors and
technicians will have guidance and be able to figure out
what is
causing the pain. Thank you for lifting us up!
Have a blessed week! Tricia 9/11/06

That sermon
(Sermon
"Scarlet")
was "way cool" as my grandson would say. I loved the
fact that you finished with an internet altar call!
I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time with the
dolphins....how exciting for you. The older I get, the
more exciting life becomes.....each day is a beautiful
gift. I wasted so many years with worry about stupid
stuff.....it is true that with age comes wisdom. Amen.
Have a blessed week. Diana 9/9/06

I'm not a youth and I wouldn't say I'm new to the bible,
I know a lot of scriptures and their interpretations but
I don't know a lot about Jesus Christ, I mean I know the
basics but not so in depth and I was told by a minister
that I need to start with John. So do you have any
commentaries suited to my needs? Thank you.

Hello Ron, We are the Sr. Pastors of At His Feet
Ministries International in Durham, NC. One of our
outreaches is to the homeless. Your verse by verse is so
easy to follow and although we could write our own, we
wanted to make the request to use your Book of John
Bible Study as a spring board. We have taught on John
for many years and would of course use some of our
material as well. Pastor Earl and Wanda 8/17/06

Hi Ron and Prayer Team: Rick had his surgery... It was
a 3-1/2 hour surgery and went very well. They removed
the 2 discs and rebuilt them and also took off 2 bone
spurs that were on the bone and the disc. That was what
was pinching the nerve so his left arm should gain back
the strength he had lost. I am so thankful to the Lord
for bringing him through it fine. Thanks for praying
for him. Love, Don and Mary 8/8/06

There have been many changes over the years and now I
find my self the mother of a missionary!!! My daughter
Kathleen chose to be a missionary for the International
Campus for Christ Ministry... Presently she needs still
needs $25000.00. Kathleen believes that the funds will
come if God truly wants her there. In these uncertain
times I must admit that I had some anxiety about all the
things that could go wrong but that was an exhausting
useless process. Rather than struggle against God's plan
I made a conscious decision to COMMIT both my children
to God. It was a peace in my heart that made me realize
that they are His and He has plans for them. I know you
will keep Kathleen in your thoughts and prayers. Any
financial support you may give will be used to bring
compassion and hope to others... Pat 8/5/06

pray for guidance and wisdom as the surgeon performs
this surgery and for a complete healing for Rick. He
knows the Lord and is putting himself in His hands but
he feels anxious about the surgery. Thank you all for
your prayers and I know he would love to get any notes
of encouragement. Love, Don and Mary 8/4/06

I can remember my mom always telling me, when someone
(or I felt someone) had done a "wrong" either against me
or someone else, that "the truth always comes home to
roost". She would tell me to take a deep breath.....
put Jesus between me and that person, and just do
nothing. She was always right.... I did not need to
strike back, the Lord stood for me and the truth always
prevailed. But, boy, is that hard to do sometimes......
I haven't finished this sermon
("The Second Mile")
yet.... just wanted to share that with you..... your
sermons sometimes take a few readings to digest
completely.... I always look forward to them..... Have a
Blessed Day....God Bless you and your ministry....

That is a wonderful testimony, I have a son that is HIV
and is in jail now, because of the HIV he has turned to
drugs and is trying to cry for help. I am a Pastor and
have always prayed for my children, however I have two
sons who are battling with drug addiction and is very
disheartening for me. I know that what God did for you
He can do for them, I'm not sure about the consequences
of waiting until something tragic happens to get their
attention however, I've already been put through the
ringer along with my children, Mario the one with HIV is
my first 24 yrs old. Years ago a youth pastor entered
into a homosexual act with my son and that how he
contracted HIV, life is hard but God Is GOOD. I just
need prayer for my family and Mario and Jason. Please

I had not previously seen the "Parents...." notification
near the top of your e-mail, so maybe this is its first
appearance. My opinion (free and worth every cent of
what you pay for it): This is such a GREAT idea. I
pray that it may it have the effect of 1) giving the
children a safe place to visit, as you said, and 2)
thereby interesting the PARENTS of those children to
spend more time on your great web site and being
involved in your ministry. May God bless this new
direction for your internet ministry. Amen. Jim 7/20/06

I was reading through your Website and I found a topic
on betrayal which is interesting to me. Betrayal is
something painful to any person. Christ is called the
Revealer of Secrets, why do you think Christ revealed
things that should have been known only by him? What
can us Christians learn from Christ as the Revealer of
Secrets? God bless. Brenda

Please pray for Robbie, who is not eating at all and
throwing up. His stomach is now reacting to the meds
because he refuses to eat and has been refusing for over
two weeks now. The doctors are stymied as to why he

frustrated and need prayer. If he doesn't eat soon, his
liver will go bad and he won't get a heart. Please
continue to pray for all of them and to give Mom and Dad
strength to deal with all of the issues. 7/8/06

Robbie has developed a staph infection which is being
hammered with antibiotics and he is finally speaking
after being silent for 2 days. He is receiving lots of
gifts, messages and prayer from so many people. We pray
that he will start to eat again. He will be undergoing
a test today to determine how long the heart can keep
going before the transplant is needed. Continue to pray
for restoration for Robbie, for strength for mom and dad
and siblings and for financial help so that mom and dad
can continue to stay by his side at Loma Linda. Also
prayer for the family that will have to inevitably give
up their child's heart. Thank you. Blessings on the
entire Friday Study Prayer Team. Diana

Robbie is back at Loma Linda Hospital in very bad
condition. He needs a heart transplant soon but is
refusing. He told his parents that he just wants to go
be with Jesus. They have counselors speaking with him
to see if he has absolute clarity on this matter. His
mother says she will honor his wishes as he is the one
who has to go through all the pain and suffering and
the possibility of the new heart failing. Please pray
for Robbie with this decision and God's will for this
family. Our hearts are heavy.

Hi Ron and Gen; Just wanted you to know that Annelore
Stolzenburg went home to be with the Lord this morning
at 9:40 AM. She will be missed by so many people. I got
to spend 3 hours alone with her yesterday, just having

end. Thank you for your prayers for her and her family.

Hello Pastor Ron, I just happened to come across your
website. You mentioned you use the New American
Standard Bible because of its faithfulness to the Greek,
Hebrew, and Aramaic languages. Could you point me to a
website perhaps where this could be studied out? Thank
you. Brenda

Pastor Ron, Thank You for the verses. I have learned
that suicide is not something that anyone is comfortable
talking about. I think the most difficult thing has
been to not have anyone that feel o.k. to sit and talk
about my brother. The worst part of the grief is
passing which I am grateful, I feel like I am not in a
fog everyday. Aside from that I don't know how I really
feel except that I really miss him. Today actually is
my birthday so I accept the email of encouragement I
received from you as a birthday gift from God to let me
know that there are those that care. Thank You. Laurie 5/26/06

Dear Ron, I love you, Ron! Your gift of
sharing is in words. I'm sure you already know
that. Your words are powerful and will last for a
very long time! You share God's heart, God's love,
God's words and what they have done in your own life.
How Beautiful. You share delightful stories of
church history and your own. Prayers and
blessings. Don 5/25/06

I know the state of the church in general, and the
congregation I attend in particular is on my mind. The
tendency among Christians to concede to the world and
not stand for God's Truth; this misunderstanding God's
words, "judge not lest ye be judged", with the result
being a rampant run of sin in the church. I'll go back
and reread your Amos teaching ... and try to understand
what my cryptic email might have been attempting to say
at the time I wrote it. I see it is rather unclear
now! And you, dear brother, keep up the good work
... Walk in His Truth and receive His blessing. Nancy 5/21/06

In response to Pastor Dave's weight loss prayer
request....there are two weight loss programs that
really work and are very supportive. The one I would
recommend if he needs to lose a large amount of weight
would be the Lindora medical program with nurses and
lots of daily support. The one that worked very well
for me was Jenny Craig....the food is delicious and
teaches you portion control and good nutrition. I lost
25 pounds on that program. Hopefully he will find
success with this endeavor...it's not easy but so worth
the effort. God Bless him as he embarks on this healthy
journey. Diana 5/10/06

Dear Pastor Ron and all
our prayer warriors: My precious 14 year old neighbor,
Robbie Shinn (some of you may remember "Baby Robbie" one
of Loma Linda's first baby heart transplant patients) is
in the hospital right at this moment, under anesthesia.
Every year, Robbie must have his heart checked. It does
not look good at this time...just spoke with my
daughter who is in telephonic communication with
Robbie's mom, and the doctors are in a huddle to
determine whether or not to do another transplant or go
with nuclear medicine. We all knew that each year
Robbie was among us, was our special gift from God.
Please pray that we can keep His marvelous gift
longer... Thank you Friday Study Ministries...I know
your prayers are so powerful. In His Love, D.

Thank you so much for helping me out with my book. I am
self publishing this book that I have yet come up with a
title for. But I know that God will give it to me when
the time is right. In case your wondering, I originally
got your e-mail from the Yahoo search engine. It's
purpose is to educate the person/s that want to become
Christian/s but don't know what denomination/belief to
go with. Which church will make them feel more relaxed
to open up to Christ. People are picky these days but I
feel that they just need a helping hand. My goal with
this book is to educate the public and to get more
people going to church. The questions are below. God

An update on my daughter, Heather, for prayer... She
complains some that her stomach bothers her, but it
comes and goes. They have stopped giving her iron
through the G tube and that has seemed to help. It's
nice that Heather's had two days without any scans or
procedures since she had the lung CT on Monday and the
brochoscopy that night followed by the MRI/MRA on
Tuesday. It's a big deal to go out for tests since she's
hand ventilated during the transport and on a portable
vent during the scans. Heather is making progress
although it is often in tiny steps with some side
journeys along the way. I look forward to the time when
we are through all of this and finding out what our new
normal will look like. No matter what, God says His
grace is sufficient and we know that His word is true.
Blessings, Cherlyn 4/2/06

I have a prayer request for my neighbor John. My
husband just rushed John to the hospital and they will
keep him overnight or longer for observation. I'm not
sure if he truly knows the Lord personally as he has had
some very negative experiences with a couple of
charismatic Christians, but he appears open to our
conversations about God. However, he is the Lord's
precious child and has numerous health problems, most of
them severe. Mike and I are his "caregivers" I cook
for him and we watch out for him. He lives in a room
at the property we own next door along with my daughter
and her family. Please pray that he comes to know
Christ and that he finds some ease in these severe
health situations, (heart, diabetes, asthma and various
other things). Thanks from my heart....Diana 3/26/06

Ron: I was reading the request by Pastor Timothy and
his fiancee Susan. In California there is something
called "confidential marriage license" which is binding
and legal. The one thing is that it cannot be made a
matter of public records....in other words...only
Timothy and Susan would be authorized to view this
license and obtain a copy. No other public entity can
find out about it. The marriage is legal and I know of
a Pastor who performs these marriages. The license is
registered in the County of origin, just
confidentially. My daughter was married this way and
still conducts her business under her maiden name and
files her taxes under her maiden name. She did not
legally change her name but does answer to his name by
her students. I know this might be considered "beating
around the bush" but sometimes our system has many
faults when it comes to medical benefits and health
care.....sometimes we just have to do whatever we can do
to get around the overburdening rules and regulations.
You may or may not wish to pass this on to them...it
could be considered a legal/moral issue., but I don't
feel that way...as a paralegal I have had to do some
things to make other things work....and this situation
calls for a better method, that's for sure. They would
definitely be legally married...she would just have to
legally, on paper, keep her maiden name but, like my
daughter, be recognized socially by her married name.
Blessings, I know the Lord will work this out for them
one way or another. Diana 3/20/06

I opened a
bank account a couple of weeks ago with a $500 deposit
with our own company check. I received a postal money
order in the mail. I tried to cash the money order at
the post office; they told me to deposit it in the bank.
I deposited the postal money order, along with two other
checks made out to me on Monday, February 27th in person
at the bank, the bank teller found no problems with the
money order - one of the checks, from Wachovia was good
- I double checked. I deposited a check that I had
received on January 20th and had not yet deposited the
next day, Tuesday, February 28th also in person. The
person at the bank said that the money order was not
good and that the check that had been deposited that
day, Tuesday, the account did not exist. The money had
not yet become available. Yet, the person at the bank
tried to charge me with "check fraud" and "writing bad
checks" and called the police. A money order is not a
check - and the check deposited on Tuesday, the account
did not exist. The other two checks - no problems were
found with them. This sounds strange. I may have to go
to court. I would appreciate your prayers for the mercy
of the Almighty God to be involved in this situation.

Hi Ron, This is Kathleen. My mom is Patty and my aunt is
Irish. I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful
sermon that you did on Irish. It brought me to tears,
because it gave me perspective on what Irish is going
through and a faith that I didn't know she had. I am
extremely grateful, because it has allowed me to ask
questions and really have an idea of where she is and
what she thinks of God. Growing up, the one rule at my
Grandmother's house has always been no politics or
religion talk. It also brought me to tears, to think
that the situation described my mother to a T. Its not
that she has agent orange poisoning, but her life has
been turned upside down by Lyme disease and a multitude
of other things. It was almost as if I had to watch the
person who used to be my mom, slip into a person that
she did not know. Your one sermon lead to one of the
best conversations that I had with my mom in a long
time. It truly was a blessing and answer to prayer. She
had given up on God and there is nothing worst than the
person who taught you about Christ, walking away. I do
pretty much full time missions at school. I joke saying
that I major in Christian Fellowship, Campus Crusade,
and Alpha and minor in History and Anthropology. I will
be going into full time ministry in Mexico City in
August, and one of the things I was really struggling
with was, how could I go into full time missions when my
family has a huge need, and it was like hitting a wall.
So I thank you for writing that sermon, because it gave
me so much peace that I needed and actually felt as if
my mom was really evaluating her situation, and
realizing that her life isn't over, that God had so much
more to do with her and that he truly does love her.
So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your
sermon and your friendship with my aunt. I will pray
that God continues to use you and your ministry to
minister to the hearts of those who really need the
Lord. Because of His Awesome wonders, Kathleen 3/12/06

Please pray for Esmeralda, a young mother who was
pregnant and found out she has diabetes. Esme was due in
March but last night the Lord took her baby to be with
him. Give her comfort Lord, heal her pain. Please Lord
guide us who are her friends, to know what to say in
order to comfort her sadness. Heal her body and soul
Lord. I pray for my friend Lord, in Jesus Christ's name,
Amen. Sandy

A request for prayer received from the US National
Cathedral:
Grant, O God, that your holy and life-giving Spirit
may so move every human heart, that barriers which
divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds
cease; that our divisions being healed, we live in
justice and peace.

Dear Ron: The Lord has provided me a little extra, and
you and Gen have done so much for me in the past with
prayers and money, that I would like to give some to
your ministry... Thanks for all your help and my prayers
have been answered to send you something for all you and
Gen have done for me. With all my love, Marilyn

Ron and Gen, Prayers are a powerful thing . .thank you
for those you provide for us Still plenty of mud here
with the sounds of helicopters flying by are fairly
regular. One of the men from our unit boxed last week
and got his bell rung . . we celebrated on behalf of his
courage to get in the ring. It is pretty much like
ground hogs day . . eat, work, exercise, read, and
sleep. Mostly boring the way you like it here... your
prayers are the greatest care package you could give me. LTC

Ron: I believe Jesse would appreciate a call from you. I
think it would also be appropriate to share the message

his loss. Thanks, Don

Dear Ron, Jim forwarded me your message. I am so
thankful! What a joy to read your Agape Love sermon.
It brought sweet memories of my precious Bill. He did
strive to be an example of God's Agape love. God
certainly touched his life with the Scriptures you
mentioned and it was his desire for them to touch every
one else in the same way. Was your sermon one with an
audio? I would enjoy hearing it as well. I'm not sure
how to find it on your web site. The only audios that I
could bring up were for 2004. God bless you, Ron and
Genevieve as well. Love in Christ Shirley

Please tell Jesse and Carolyn, who lost their son,
Sergio, that a prayer member knows their hearts. I
remember the dark place I was in when I lost my sons.
Tell them to put one foot in front of the other, not to
worry about doing anything else at this point. It does
get better, not for a long time, you must be patient,
but it does get better and then the day will come when
they will be called to minister to someone else who has
suffered the same loss. I will pray for them daily as
they stand in this very hard place. Diana

The Danish press published a set of political cartoons
that set off a powder-keg in the Islamic world. The
Christians of Denmark ask for prayer, and I ask you to
pray with me for God's will to be accomplished in the
midst of this crisis, that His name be glorified, that
the leaders in Denmark would have wisdom and insight
from God, that the loss of life be minimized, and the
opportunities for Christians to witness would be
maximized!!!! this is a post-Christian nation, God is
nothing more than a myth to them, I pray that he would
become real to them now, as they are feeling seriously
threatened with the actual loss of their nation right
now, and they would turn to him again, as their
ancestors once did. Thanks, Laura

The prayer requests are so heart-rendering, aren't
they? I know God hears our prayers as we wait for his
answer. Also, I was told by Ryan's mother, Jayne, that
she forwarded the info on "Especially for Youth" to him
as he is still in the L.A. area. He and his wife are
very involved with the ministry of these invisible
children in Africa. Hopefully, he can find time in his
busy schedule to write to you and share his story. The
DVD is amazing that he and his brother-in-law put
together. If you haven't done so, please go
to invisiblechildren.com Blessings, Diana

Dear Ron: I had a visit with my Orthopedic surgeon
(name given)
today. We were discussing faith and the Father. Anyway,
I gave him your e-mail address. I told him about
listening to your sermons and feeling uplifted after the
prayer. If you happen to see his name, perhaps you will
remember this e-mail and make the connection. Love. Don and Di

Pastor Beckham, I am a Christian. I am just not a
practicing Christian! I am in law enforcement and my
hours are not conducive to attending traditional church
services. I’m also in the reserves (excuse me, soon
will be). I have many issues. Sins would be more like
it. Though I pray to Jesus and say the Lord’s Prayer on
a daily basis, and I read the Bible a lot more than I
used to, I believe that I need some advice and
ministering... Please help me. I think that my already
weak faith is wavering. God bless, John

Hi, Ron, I hope you don’t mind my writing to you, but I
thought you might be interested in an article my husband
has written on a most intriguing aspect of the works of
God’s hands. Did you know that certain freeloading
parasites mysteriously change the behaviour of their
host to facilitate the next stage of the parasite’s life
cycle? Sound bizarre? It is; but it’s just one of the
virtually infinite number of creation miracles. If you
have any interest in nature, I believe you will find
this free article not just enlightening but also
entertaining. Martha

I can't thank you enough for your wisdom in interpreting
the Word of God
(sermon "The Obstacle").
This particular sermon made me realize, once again, that
I am exactly where I am supposed to be. When others
ask, "how do you stand what you do every day, taking
care of two babies, raising all those grandchildren who
are now in the teen years, and running a small business,
I know that I am right where I am supposed to be!! My
only obstacle is me and my sometimes impatience. I told
my 19 year old grandson just the other day to play the
hand God deals him well and with the best of his
ability. (he isn't real happy with the job he now has)
Thank you again for your wonderful sermon. May the Lord
continue to work through you and to bless you
daily. Diana
