I have a neighbor by the name of Sarah
Encinitas who has been rushed to the hospital with
kidney failure. I do not think she is a Christian, so
please pray for her salvation and healing. Also please
pray for a family friend by the name of Susan Walton.
She has the flu really bad and has recently relapsed
into a bad case of bronchitis. She is concerned; please
lift her up in your prayers. Thanks. God bless.

Ron, "The Advocate" was an excellent
sermon. The real estate contract theme is something you
certainly know well and was very descriptive of our
contract with God through Christ. I really enjoyed it.

Blessings to you and your family Ron.
My prayers have been with you during these times of such
loss for you lovely people. The losses in my life have
taught me that the Lord, of course, is the answer. With
our eyes looking at Him we can walk forward with hope
and love, instead of turning inward and resting in our
loss. Thus darkness. The pain is real, and needs to be
felt. Or it simply gets ignored or escaped from. From
the experience of losing my mother and fiancée I am
speaking as much from experience, as from my counseling
background. Mourning is a very personal emotion. And
real! Thomas 11/25/05

You both have given so much of
yourselves in your ministry and now is another difficult
hour. Our prayers are with you both as you
remember Adele in the memorial service as well as in the
future. Thank you for being there for both Adele and
Mary over the many years. God be with you both.

Thank you so
much for your continued prayers. I am still very sick
with severe depression, Leukemia, and other medical
problems. The prayer below made me feel so very loved.
I read the entire prayers and knew the least I could do
is prayer for everyone else on your list, which I have
done. If you would please continuing praying for me and
my son I would be gracious. Thank you, Ginny

Genevieve to hold you and our Lord Jesus to embrace you
with his ever-reaching and ever-lasting arms of grace

if there was anything else that I could do about that?
If not I understand but I would love to continue to
receive the word thru email. Melissa 11/3/05

Dear Ron & Genevieve, The Spirit in me
greets the Spirit in you. Please receive Julie and my
heart-felt sympathies and prayers during this time of
earthly-to-heavenly transition for you dad. Two years
ago, my dad went through similar circumstances and the
Lord graciously received him; and this past February, my
mom joined my dad in their new heavenly abode. The rich
legacy that our parents give to each of us is life
itself; how we live our lives for God's glory is the
"frosting on the cake!" Take the time to breathe in
God's grace, and breathe out life to others. Take the
time to "get away" to be still and know that God's voice
speaks peace and comfort, to bring you to a place of joy
once more. Grace & Peace, Pastor Jerry & Julie 10/26/05
|
 |

emotionally. In His Love, Don & Faye 10/25/05

Dear Ron and Genevieve, I want to
express my sincere condolences to you in the passing of
your father. I know that we all grieve in our own way,
but when my son died, a dear Christian friend of mine
said, ":You cry because you will miss him but try to
think of where he is, a place of perfect peace and with
our LORD." It helped me so much to think of it that way.
There comes a time when we all will face the death of a
loved on, but if we know where they went, like my son
Gale, it is easier to bare. Again, I am so sorry,
Always, Your sister in Christ, Mary from Texas 10/21/05

I always feels it is wrong to pray for
ones self. Is this true? I cannot seem to get well,
constantly sick, to the point my son a and wife are very
concerned. I am at wits end. All I do day in and day
out is pray for others but really my underlying msg is
asking for self to be healed. I would like to be a
member of the prayer team. I, also, would enjoy
receiving weekly sermon and bible study by email. Thank
you so much for including me. God Bless, Ginny.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. You are an
inspiration. My son Nick was married on September 30,
2005 to a very beautiful, kind, thoughtful, princess
bride whom I also love dearly. I have advised her she
is going straight through the gates when she reaches
heaven. This woman was only dating my son for around 3
weeks and they went to a July 4th event. Nick dove into
the lake and broke his neck. Kristen, the girl now his
wife, saved my son's life. GOD then blessed me with
purchasing a very small home where we could all live.
We did have to have the house remodeled some. GOD, to
date, is the only person who has helped. I think a lot
of people out here think disabled people get a lot for
the Government and other sources, well that is not
true. We have never received any assistance. Nick
does get a small disability check and his medical bills
are paid for but life is hard for these two. I am so
touched by you calling and emailing I had to email and
ask for your prayers for my son and his new wife. YES I
DANCED WITH MY SON. The first part of the song I climbed
onto his lap and the end of the song I held his hand and
electric wheel chair and did as Jonathan did, danced the
night away. This is one the the best moments in my life.
God Bless You and Thank you so much. Mother of the
Groom, Ginny 10/19/05

explained like this before. I will return to your web

Why when it comes to a crisis in the family, such as

Ron, thank you for providing the
Invocation for the Signal Hill Health Fair on Saturday.
Your prayer is beautiful. I am not sure if there is
going to be a organ donating entity there or not, but
the girl that needs the bone marrow, Christina, and her
parents will be attending. I think it is absolutely
beautiful, you can tell your words are from God. Sandy

Here's a joke for the "humor" page:
Walking by, a minister saw his
5-year-old son and playmates find a dead robin.
Feeling that proper burial should be
performed, the children had secured a small box and
cotton batting, then dug a hole and made ready for the
disposal of the deceased.
The minister's son was chosen to say
the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity
intoned his version of what he thought his father always
said: "Glory be unto the Faaaather, and unto the Sonnn...
and into the hole he gooooes.

The scriptures say that the Apostle
Peter was married and that she was led to martyrdom in
Rome. I would like to know as much as possible about
Peter's wife, was she traveling with him all the time.
Did they have children. I want to know as much as

Chris, Thank you for your sermon on
"The Gift of God". I find myself "worrying" that I'm not
doing enough even though I know it's about what He did
and not what I do. Your sermon is helping me "relax" and
just love him. God Bless You, Dennis 8/25/05

Pastor Ron, I have a question about
the Bible verse "blessed are those who mourn for they
shall be comforted" Does that mean that we are to rely
solely on God to comfort us in our grief or does God
provide people and help for us during this time. If we
don't find help during this time does that mean our
faith is not strong enough or that we are not allowing
God to comfort us? I am sure this sounds like a silly
question but it is at the heart of some of my grief
beyond the death and suicide of my brother. Thank You.

(Re: "Tongues"). Ron, Thank you
so much. Your response was extremely "edifying". My
husband comes from a church where tongues were spoken
often during the service. He said pretty much the same
thing, very simply, "different strokes for different
folks." Because he was raised with tongues being used
significantly, then he is not bothered or distracted as
I am. I do truly feel that it should be used as a
prayer language and I think that a lot of the "tongues"
being spoken during a service., are of the flesh...but
that is just my opinion and others have a very different
view. I go to church to praise God but most of all to
learn more about His Word. That's why your messages are
so realistic, good ole basic Bible stuff!! God Bless
You, Diana 8/9/05

Hello Pastor Ron. I hope you're
having a great week. Aaron, Luke and myself are excited
about being baptized this weekend. A little nervous too
we must say. Aaron and I discussed at length this
weekend what this means to us, both for ourselves and as
parents. Its a big challenge in today's world to lead by
example and keep faith as the center of a family. We
know how important it is to bring Luke up in a Christian
home. We both know God and have both received him into
our hearts but this next step is a big one, an exciting
one. Thank you for making it happen for the three of us
as a family!... Amber 8/3/05

(Re Sermon "Le Tour de
France") In raising 8
children, most of the years as a single parent, I
instilled in my children the need to look at our family
as a team. Your message really supported the fact that
we can achieve our greatest success within a body of
believers, working with one another instead of making
ourselves an island. My kids all worked from the time
they were 15 years old....(I did not receive child
support and there was not the help that women have now
with "deadbeat" dads) So we were pretty much by
ourselves. I only have one sibling, my brother John, who
was living his life and raising kids of his own. My
sister-in-law (because of her own insecure issues) did
not encourage our relationship at that time so I did not
have my brother in my life at all. I remember my son,
(who has now passed on) saying to me one day when he was
about 20 years old, "you know mom, I'm so proud that we
did it ourselves, working together and supporting one
another." It was tough, but the kids were so awesome
during those tough years. I had to work 3 jobs and my
son John was the cook and clean-up man with my daughter
Terre taking over the bath and homework time. I think
my beautiful family is a wonderful example of working
together every day to get things done and help their
Mom. I miss my boys terribly but am so honored to have
been their Mother. Diana 8/1/05

Pastor Beckham, Thanks for the prompt
response. Your website has been a blessing in my life. I
read the testimonial of Pastor Dennis last night and was
deeply moved... You would not believe the number
of people you have touched. After reading this site over
the last 4-5 years off and on I do realize this ministry
is the light in a world of darkness. You make the
scriptures clear and concise, easy to understand in
today's world. God Bless you and yours, Doug 7/28/05

(Re Sermon: "The
Unborn") Dear Ron, God's blessings
to you and Gen. It's always good to know that you are
"out there," serving the folks whom the rest of us
cannot reach. Today's lesson particularly touched me,
and I thank you for writing and sending it. I
particularly enjoyed your many historical references. I
love history. Now if only we would LEARN more from it!
It's interesting to note that Eric Rudolph was recently
sentenced for his views (AND actions) in the abortion
dispute. As reported, "At the sentencing hearing,
Rudolph said, 'Abortion is murder and because it is
murder I believe deadly force is needed to stop it,'
adding, 'Children are disposed of at will. The state is
no longer the protector of the innocents.'" We can
agree with his position on abortion, but certainly NOT
with his views and actions concerning deadly force.
Perhaps John G. Roberts, Jr., (the recently nominated
Supreme Court Justice) will eventually have something to
say on this issue. & as you probably know, Beethoven
went deaf before he died, also, but he certainly
accomplished a great deal before then! With love, Jim 7/26/05

Ron, I have been invited to minister
on Sunday, July 17th at a local church. I would like to
minister on the difference between sin and iniquity, and
the significance with the blood sacrifice in Leviticus,
where the priest killed a bull then a goat and mixed the
blood, dipped his hands in the blood and applied it to
the tips of the horns of the altar, then sprinkled it 7
times on the mercy seat. Then laid hands on the
scapegoat and sent it off into the uninhabited
wilderness. What is the significance of the BULL and the
GOAT? I understand that the bull was to sanctify the
priest and the goat to sanctify the people. What is the
significance between with the 2 different animals?

Dear Ones at Friday Study Ministries,
This morning when I wakened and saw the sun above,
I softly said, "Good Morning, Lord, Bless everyone I
love."
And right away I thought of you and said a loving
prayer,
That He would bless you specially & keep you from care.
I thought of all the happiness a day could hold in
store,
I wished it all for you because no one deserves it more.
Blessings, lovingly, Grace

Hello, I would like to send in a
Praise Report. I had been battling with a much needed
surgery by the time I spoke with Dennis S. about putting
me on the prayer list. This surgery was very serious it
involved the removal of an 11# tumor and a full
abdominal hysterectomy and an umbilical hernia repair I
had had 9 failed Ecg's (heart) and bad lungs due to
asthma and years of heavy smoking my spirit was very low
due to several devastating things that had happened
since last November also they were going to do a biopsy
for cancer. Dennis told me he put me on the prayer
list. I am writing this letter to let you know I had a
terrific amount of things going against me when I went
into the Operating Room .. the list is very long what
could have happened ,,,,,,,,,but thanks to a great
surgeon and assistant & to THE GREATEST SURGEON OF ALL
all went very very well and the tumor is gone & I am on
the mend. I surely wanted to send in this praise
report and thank all the really selfless people who were
willing to pray for me.. Thank you Denise 6/2/05

Dear Ron, I read this particular
prayer request with great sadness: "Almighty God, we
pray for protection for this on-line church, as it faces
daily nuisance advertising postings on the website...."
As a web site maintainer myself, I am so sad to hear
about this problem that you are having. (Some people
just don't have enough to do to keep them busy!) Our
prayer is that this activity stops very soon, so that
you can spend your time on more important activities.
With love, Jim 5/31/05

I just read your comments on the book

milk (raw) and honey (I have a bee keeper I get it from

interesting to me... Land flowing with milk and honey-
that's me! I was able to read this at school today. I
will read more later. Mark 5/30/05

like the youth section, very well done... Thank you

Ron, I just found out
that I can HEAR your Sunday Sermons. I'm not a
reader and I bet most everybody else don't read much,
either. But I came out into the room where we have
the computer and I heard your voice on Diane's computer.
Your voice is very soothing. It was great.
Keep doing them with your voice. Don Z. 5/28/05

Gen1:20,21
And God said, Let the
waters bring forth abundantly the moving
creature that hath life,
and fowl [that] may
fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
And God created great whales, and every living creature
that moveth, which the
waters brought forth abundantly, after their
kind, and every winged fowl after his kind:
and God saw that [it was] good.
DID THE WATERS BRING
FORTH THE BIRDS? AND DID THEY then MULTIPLE
IN THE
EARTH AFTER COMING OUT OF THE WATER? {GEN2:19}
GEN 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be
fruitful, and multiply, and
fill the waters
in the seas, and
let fowl multiply IN
the earth .
GEN2:19 And
out of the ground
the LORD God formed every beast of the field,
and every fowl
of the air;... GEN2:19 SAYS "every
fowl" came from the
ground, but
GEN1:20&21 said the
waters brought forth ??? Help.
DID THE WATERS BRING
FORTH THE BIRDS OR OUT OF THE GROUND??? Eddie

I just finished the reading your sermon
"The Scattering." I appreciate this insight into the
post-flood world. As far as the PRE flood world, Myself,
I imagine it was very very advanced .... People not far
removed from the very creation of man; people who still
lived lifetimes of 500 years plus! Man with an
intelligence quotient more than likely far far beyond
ours .... whose minds and hearts were not so tainted
with years and years of living with sin! I thought of
something interesting as I read about the sudden change
in language ... There are so many who support this
babbling of meaningless syllables as the "tongues" given
in Acts, yet it is made quite clear that these tongues
were actual languages given in order that the Word of
God might be spread abroad ... Each man was suddenly
understanding his neighbor and baffled at this
miracle! Its like it was put back together there in one
small place at one time ...Would appreciate some
additional insight into this also! Nancy 5/16/05

Hi guys, Could you lift up my online
friend, Mads, from Zimbabwe ~ as she was attacked by
a lioness yesterday while on vacation weekend. She's
going to be okay, however, she was bitten in the back of
the neck/shoulder area and clawed on both arms....I can
only imagine the pain. She's praising God that she was
able to keep standing and both guides say that saved her
life, giving the guides and Lawrence (her brother) the
ability to beat the lioness off of her. She was also
relating to everyone how it made her have a whole new
perspective on Daniel and the lion's den and the early
Christians' suffering through death that way. Thanks,
Susie 5/15/05

Ron, I work for HomeWatch
CareGivers and we provide in-home caregiving services,
primarily to the elderly and disabled. Just recently, we
became the sole provider in our area of the Veteran's
Salute Program, whereby we can assist low income vets
who meet certain qualifications, to get a pension for
caregiving services - and to thus fill that need. It was
my frustration with finding these people who so
desperately need assistance, that led to our discussion.
Thank you for your ear AND for your ministry. How
wonderful to find this site! The music is great and I
will share it with my friends. Blessings to you.

Dear Ron and Dennis, I

Thank you Pastor Ron, for
your answer. Do you think that if I am in a Church that
does not believe in the gifts and the baptism of the
Holy spirit that I am in the wrong place. So often I
feel as if our church is not even alive, but I don't
feel a strong pull to leave. Would God have me here even
if I don't follow the doctrinal beliefs of this
denomination? The board and the leadership team do not
know that I believe in the gifts, I believe that would
cause division and this is I know is not what the Lord
wants. Thank you in advance

Dear Pastor Ron and Gen:
Those praise reports are an encouragement as I read each
one, seeing how God worked and answered prayer in the
different areas of the lives mentioned in your Praise
Report. It makes me know He will answer mine in His
perfect timing, but He is allowing me to go through what
I am going through for a purpose like He did in the
lives of these people mentioned, so He can get the
Glory. With thanks for those reports 4/13/05

Good Morning Ron, I would
like to consult you for some wisdom and advice. The
question I'm starting to ponder is that of formally
starting a Ministry (as you did when you went through
the formal governmental approval process). I know
through your earlier writings that there was some labor
involved in this. I'm wondering at what point to start
this process. Thank you for any advice you may have. May
God continue to bless your ministry and your marriage.

Is it ok for a women
to be a pastor over a church? If not why? I can
understand the duties and qualifications of a elder,
bishop, and deacon, but it says in the word of GOD that
a women can be a teacher, and a preacher and teacher are
the same. A Bishop runs all churches that he builds up
under his organization but a pastor gets the ok to do
things within the church by the Bishop so therefore the
women is still in her place and isn't out of line nor is
she out of the will of GOD

Hello, I am writing
on behalf of an online Christian portal. We provide many
resources for children and for parent's with children.
There is a dearth of sites devoted to promoting
Christianity among children, and we are hoping to be one
of the first sites to offer a comprehensive collection
of Christian kids information. We were hoping to use
some of content from your website on our section. We
would like to include Commentary on the
Book of John
in this section. If you allow us to use
it, we will give the proper credit and copyright
information on any page the content is used, and you
will also be supporting a wonderful Christian cause.
Thanks so much for your consideration. Jessica

Hello, I came across
your site as I was looking for material to teach 4th
thru 6th grade girls the Gospel of John. I have not yet
looked at it closely because I am just trying to gather
resources. I was wondering if I have permission to use
some of your thoughts from the John study with the
kids? I would probably just incorporate it into my
discussion or explanation of the passages, and maybe
into questions. I am not sure what I am going to use
yet, but I wanted to get permission before I dive into
study. Sincerely, Lisa, Kansas City. 2/26/05

Ron, I just received
your study on this passage from Joel 2:26-32. Very
interesting. I have never heard that perspective before.
If you don't mind I would like to ask you 2 initial
questions. Firstly, with regard to the perspective of
this passage relating to the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT,
is this something the LORD spoke directly to you or is
this something you picked up from a commentary? If it's
from a commentary I sure would like to know which one in
order that I might read it. Secondly, time permitting
and in the spirit of love, would you be receptive to
opening a dialogue on this passage? As you well know
this is a topic of great interest to me and I desire to
learn more. I have always respected your spirit and
loving attitude and would cherish the opportunity to
search deeper in GOD'S truth with a brother such as
yourself. That would be a tremendous blessing to me. I
will await your answers and trust the LORD to lead as HE
wills! Agape' Jim 2/21/05

I have a question I
would like to ask. My twin sister whom I am very close
to recently told me she is going to have to separate
herself from me because I am too worldly. She said it is
because the type of movies I watch. I watch the typical
movies you find at the theater, but never anything
x-rated or obviously wrong. She said it's wrong to watch
movies with any swearing, or overly violent, or one that
has hints of sexuality. I feel she is going overboard
and over reacting, but I need to know if she is right or
if I am right. I want to do what's right in God's eyes.
I don't think watching these movies is wrong, but if it
is, I need to know. Thank you for taking the time out to
answer my question. Rita

i have a question about something i've read....i hope
you can shed light onto it... the question is "Does God
tempt people?"...James 1:13 says "Let no man say ... I
am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil,
neither tempeth he any man." VS. · Genesis 22:1 "And it
came to pass after these things, that God did tempt
Abraham." ...this question has caught my attention...and
one more thing on this ...in James 1:13 the word "he"
("...neither tempeth he any man.") is not capitalized in
my bible????...so i assume it is not talking about
God...is this a misprint or is it the same in your
bible??... thank you for taking the time to read my
question

I have visited your
web-site -- very nice. My wife returned from Canada all
excited about another e-church to which she was exposed
up there. God bless you for being innovative in
ministry. I can read your sermons and Bible studies from
the web site -- which is a blessing. God grant you peace
and power in your life and ministry, Ron. Warmly in
Christ, Rob

(Re: Sermon "Religion")
- You ask the question in
your sermon, what did the Catholics see in you? I
may have a partial answer. I met a man in Tucson
from another country who knows you. He said this
about you: You are filled with so much love.

What is your opinion on a
Pastor serving as treasurer also in the same church? Is
there a legal issues involved in this type of DUAL roles
in the same church? Does the government have any
jurisdiction in this? Saylor. 2/5/05

(Re: Sermon "The
Battlefield")
This sermon reminded me of an
incident that happened not too long ago. I had
purchased my younger relatives a recent release of the
Harry Potter series. Their mother called me to advise
that they were no longer allowed to watch those movies.
Apparently they were running around the house practicing
"spells" on each other. I think I was so captivated by
the idea of personal triumph and the innocence of a
child who continues to overcome evil. I never thought of
the underlying message which dealt with witchcraft and
wizardry. It is very important for us to continue monitoring the subliminal messages we receive.
Its amazing how the enemy sneaks into our lives in ways
we don't even realize. Thanks for a great sermon, Charlesetta 2/4/05

Ron,
Thanks for another SUPER GOOD ONE. I hope you don't mind
but I printed it out to take to the Monday night study.

Pastor Ron, I am
involved in a Monday night Women's Bible Study and we
are studying the book of James. The study tonight has me
stumped because it talks about paying the workers a
denarius for a day of work. Do you know how much that is
? Was it a coin? Thanks Vicki

You are a blessing,
my brother! As we give the glory to our God, you and
your church can take part of the credit for what He has
done and is doing through us. You prayed for us when the
times were pretty rough and God answered your
prayers. Blessings to you, dear brother! † Pastor Dan 1/20/05

Hello Pastor Ron. My
fiancé' is a Minister/Missionary in various countries,
my Mother has been ordained a Minister and is the asst.
Pastor at her church in FL., and my family has a strong
history of both Female and Male Ministers. I have been
searching and seeking my own purpose for years, God has
finally given me a path way to receive the gift of my
purpose. All that to say, I don't feel that I am to
Pastor a church but I am to teach. I am going back for
my Masters to get the educational side and hope to earn
my PHD. I am part of a Baptist church now and they don't
teach nor believe that women should Pastor a church and
claim with various scripture that it is quoted in the
doctrines. Is this true? I'm just seeking the truth?
Thank you for time in advance, Jade

Pastor Beckham, I had to do research on Chapter 3 of
the Book of Daniel for one of my classes (I attend a
Wesleyan University). I cannot tell you how many
times I've read that book and I never truly
understood the message in the words nor was I able
to relate the events back then to modern day
occurrences. You did an excellent job breaking down
the material and I can truly relate now. I have
renewed interest in studying the bible with
understanding versus just reading it to say that
I've read. After reading your analysis, the light
bulb went off. I will definitely be visiting your
page frequently and passing the word on to others. I
just wanted to write and say Thanks! Charlesetta

Very timely message especially in light of all the
circumstances surrounding us. I also pray that our
political leaders are praying and not trying to do fix
the mess we are now in using mere human devices.
Unfortunately, I think the latter may be the norm. God
Bless. Hope you had a joyous Christmas and safe New
Year holiday. Yvonne 1/4/05

My name is Jessica and I live in Austin, TX. I just
wanted you to know I came across your site
"Book of John
for Youth and those new to the Lord"
and God really
Blessed me and my friend, Stephanie by it. She is brand
new to the Lord and I gave my life to Him a little over
a year ago. And I am zealously seeking Him and His
truth, and this site helped me with a few things I did
not understand. It is a Blessing to my friend, Stephanie
also like you wouldn't believe. So I just want to thank
you for making this site and being sensitive to God's
inspiration in it. May the Lord Bless you. 1/2/05
