Happy,
Happy, Happy New Year, Ron and Genevieve and Ron's mother.
Have a joyous and safe one, and enjoy the coming of a New Year, and
it is getting closer and closer for the Lord to come, so let us
shout Hallelujah! I love you all, and hope the New Year will
bring more prosperity, and good health, and a record attendance to
the Friday Study Ministries. 12/30/02

Thanks for
your beautiful sermon "Give me Oil". It ministered to me so that I
can now deliver a wonderful sermon to youth in Juvenile Hall.
Your explanation of the Lamp, Oil helped me to understand the need
for Word and the Holy Spirit. Thanks. Rev. Sharon.

Dear Ron,
Several month ago, I got an email from either you or Gen,
asking if a picture of a spinning globe could be added to the site.
Okay so several months later I have done this, let me know what you
think, if you like it cool if not I can remove it.. 12/28/02
The "Spinning Globe" is on the Weekly
Bulletin page of
www.fridaystudy.org and it is wonderful. We thank Sandy, our Webmaster
for all she does.

mentioned that the text is hard to read..... Keep sending and I'll
keep trying to read....Thanks..... Take care, Liz "Each one

administering God's grace in its various forms" (1 Peter 4:10).

Dear Ron and Genevieve: I pray the both of you
have a very blessed Thanksgiving also, and I pray I can be a special
light as I help feed the homeless at my church this Thanksgiving.
Thank you and God Bless You, Marilyn 11/27/02

Reference Sermon "The
Lights of the City". To those that say "my
church" my response would be but you are the Body of Christ so how
can any church ever be referred to as "my church". My Pastor
has a saying " the Church is us" (meaning the body). Keep
praying that we will come to the knowledge of who we are in Christ.

Hello there! I have just found your website and
absolutely love it. That's a lovely song that the girl sings! I have
looked at various things on your site and I am impressed, but when
my wife and I came to your 'humor' we had a really good laugh!
We especially love the 'hare spray' joke! I too have a
Christian site, in fact a whole group of them; we are Museltof
Christian ministries, based in the UK and, if you want to have a
glance, here are three of them;

My, My, My, What a
beautiful website. I found it as I was browsing. I teach a Bible
class and we are on the Book of Acts. I was looking for resources.
Imagine my joy as I click on your site and the soothing sound of
Renee Bondi singing captured my attention. Your web site is so well
done. Beautifully organized and easy to go from one area to another.
I will be back to listen and to read. I have attached one of what
God has put in my spirit to do as my Ministry. Use as God directs
you. Be Blessed, Stay faithful. A Servant of Christ, Rachel.

Dear Ron and Genevieve,
Decided to take a few minutes this morning to drop you a line and to
Thank You for my Bible Study via the e-mail. Often I have wondered
why HE brought me here to Palestine. The attachment I am sending is
the result of HIM doing this. It touched me. God Bless. Mary.

Thanks for this study,
Ron. It has been of particular meaning to me. I enjoy getting the

As I was reading about
the delay in the surgery, I immediately wondered if God delayed it
for the purpose of prayer. I did not receive the e-mail
requesting prayer until about 8 or 8:30am, which evidently is about
the time of the surgery. I prayed, realizing that the surgery
had already taken place (so I thought), but continued to pray for
healing and recovery. To find out today, that the surgery was
CONCURRENTLY taking place, was pretty cool. It's always great
to hear how God brings things about - He's so good to us ... so
undeservingly... for me anyway. It's embarrassing to realize
that we pray for healing, but don't recognize that He did it, when
it happens. We try and figure it out with human wisdom, trying
to explain what happened. Then after toiling in our
frustration for a bit, we say, "Oh yah... maybe God DID bring
healing, like we asked Him to". Still a bit skeptical!
We ARE a needy people! Only by the grace of God can we exist!

our daughter Carol. We're home for the moment, and will
minister in Calvary Chapel of Camarillo next weekend. On Nov. 2,
Christine will lead a women's seminar, Holidays... Holiness or
Hassle. We look forward to seeing you both -In God's timing.

pass on this prayer request. Thank you for including me in on your
request and please keep me up to date on how she is doing. God is In

Dear
Ron and Genevieve, Just a brief note to let you know two things: (1)
- For reasons unclear to me, I have recently been receiving COMPLETE
e-mailings from you. They are no longer cut off and incomplete. I do
not know the reason for this, because I have been doing nothing
different from before, but it is good news for me and, perhaps, for
other subscribers as well. (2) - Your insights on the "aging
process," in your latest message, were particularly useful to an
"old guy" like myself! Keep working hard for Him. With love,
Jim L. 10/21/02

Hi Pastor Ron, I have been
extremely busy so I have been unable to respond to your sermons.
This was a great message (study in the Book of Acts).
Very few people know about the term “The Way”, so it is a good
thing that you are spreading this knowledge. I will be
forwarding something to you, that came to me. I thought you
might find it interesting. Love , and prayers to you and Gen .

To my friend, I just wanted you to know how much I
feel that the Lord has blessed me when it comes to Friday Study
Ministries, in the last 3 months or so never once has it failed.
When I have been frustrated or feeling down, I look in my email and
once again I realize how blessed I am when I see a new note, or
sermon with Friday Study Ministries name on it. I just wanted to
thank you and the Lord one more time today, for putting such a
needed and wanted blessing in my life. Thank you Ron. Sandy.

Ron, Your studies are always so thoughtful and
well done. Thanks for including me in these results of your
ministry. Ben. 9/9/02
|
 |
Ron, This sermon ("Pass The Ammunition") is truly
a great reading, thanks. It gives me a lot to consider. Here is a
prayer I learned this year that fits well with your commentary:
"Lord,
Open the doors you want opened;
Close the doors you want closed.
Help me to find & follow your most perfect will..."
Peace, Jim A. 9/9/02
|
 |
Dear Ron, it's a very nice touch having the
capability to play "Surrender" and other songs by Renee Bondi on
your web site (www.fridaystudy.org). I really like Renee and
her music. I have all of her CDs, and I use some of her songs
during Walks. Also, your web site really looks GOOD these
days! Jim L. 9/9/02

putting her on your prayer list, will keep you updated as to her

 |
Ron, I enjoyed this sermon (The Plane). It
tells me how short I fall of following Jesus Christ. It still
feels like a miraculous journey to know how much improvement I must
make that makes life even more enjoyable. One thing I would like to
discuss with you is when ministers say something like you said
"God's definition of first-class..." Rather than "my feeling
or my belief..." It presumes knowledge of what God thinks.
I don't mean this as a criticism, you know I'm very new and tend to
be judgmental. I need your understanding, wisdom and guidance.
God Bless You, Dennis. 9/4/02 (An answer was sent to
Dennis).

Dear Ron and Genevieve, I appreciate your

Thanks for your messages Ron. Hope all is well.
Could you do me a favor? Give me a brief definition of "Worship".
Tomorrow evening, five of our churches here coming together for a
Worship night and each pastor will share a little (5 minutes) on
different aspects of worship. My assignment is to define worship and
I'm surveying folks to include in my remarks. We would love to see
you there if you can - 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. If you have time to add to my
survey I would love it. Thanks a bunch. Love and prayers, Dave.
8/25/02.

Ron, I read this week's Friday Study, Acts 23:
31-35. I have a question on a statement you made in verse 32;
"Any difficulty that seems to trouble you is allowed by the Lord,
and he has good purpose in all that happens." This is where I
have difficulty, where it appears that God allows everything to
happen. My understanding is, simply put, God only does good things.
We also have free will and the "Adversary". Let me know your
thoughts. God Bless You, Dennis 8/23/02
(An answer was sent to Dennis).
|
 |
Ron, I retired on 8/2. I hope to be able to spend
more time on some business I love. Please add me to your email list
for the Friday Study. Thanks, Joe. 8/14/02

 |
Dear Ron: I really am impressed with your
new web page, and the colors you are using in your Sermons on the
Internet. It is easy on the eyes, and the important points are
brought out in other colors that hit the eyes in a special way.
Thanks for including me in Friday Study Ministries. Keep up
the good work, and the Lord will bless your work for Him, in special
ways, as I see He is already doing. All my love as your
Sister-In-Christ, Marilyn 8/12/02

women needing prayer and inspiration. Faye.

RE: Friday Study 8/9/02 - Acts 23:21-25. Yes, people are looking for a rescuer. But
they need to seek the only TRUE RESCUER. In fact, that’s what
Miriam sang about in the book of Exodus after the children of Israel
had crossed through the Red Sea onto dry land on the other side.
Not only did she sing about it but she testified as to exactly what
God had done to Pharaoh and his army. Yes, I agree, Jesus
Christ/Y’shua is the only place to put our trust. Good
Message! Yvonne. 8/9/02

Ron, I particularly enjoyed this
sermon. It really spoke to me and where I am now, not using our Lord

He can do more than we can ever

He has worked wonders with my life, I can wait for him to work in

Re: Friday Study 7/12/02 - Acts
23:1-5. Good word, Ron. And timely with all the unrest we are
living in - racial, economic, political, and the like. Let us
continue to pray that with all the calming of fears and uprisings,
there be God in the midst with his quieting the spirits that have
such strongholds in the dark places. We read the end of the Book.
God is still on the throne. Deb 7/13/02

Thank you so much for using my
Mother Elda in such a mighty way. My first thought is that each and
every word you printed was perfect. My second thought is how
wonderful it is to me, and to my Mother, that you would choose to
use the last part of her life, and her death, to further the Kingdom
of God. Well done good and faithful servant. I will be praying for
you and Gen. We Love You! In Christ's Full Love, Tommy. 6/18/02

Dear Ron and Gen, Thanks for taking the time to
talk with us yesterday. It is a difficult situation, and especially
if they feel completely alone. May God bless you and the ministry

(RE: Sunday Sermon - 5/26/02 - His
Wrath - Romans 1:18). What a wonderful message. Since I
minister at a Hospice where the majority of the people are “gay”.
(including the workers) and the majority are dying from AIDS,
I will print this out and share it with some of them. Great
message – but you certainly show them the WAY. Yvonne.

I remember you mentioning
something about 'grief counseling' and was wondering if you or
someone you know does that type of counseling. We have a need
in our Church. Pastor D. (Yes we do and a response was
sent). 5/31/02

Mr. Beckham You are wrong in
your assumption that Christ and the Church are the stone of
Daniel's Prophecy. The Church did not clash with the Roman empire.
It was subject to it. Islam alone defeated the Romans and the
Persians. The second Khalifa Umar totally routed the Romans. They
were further pounded by the Turks who captured Constantinople. The
eastern empire was destroyed by the Muslims. History has spoken.
Then Islam spread all over the world. Ishmail.

My Church, Atco United Methodist,
is studying the book of Daniel in Bible Study and I wanted to see if
I could get some additional information on Daniel. So I went into
the Internet under "Bible" then "Bible Study" and this brought me up
to "Daniel". I have copied the whole book of Daniel and have started
using it (we're up to Chapter 3 now). I have found it to be very
interesting and informative. Thank you for being there and may God
Bless you in your life. Barbara. 5/2/02

Thank you for your faithfulness
and always continuing to send me emails. I am always blessed by
them, particularly the one I received today: "I am Safe." I am very
grateful to hear these words this particular day. God's love does
indeed cross many man-made boundaries, especially the ones we make
for ourselves, built of our limited understanding. I am so grateful
for that love. Much love to both of you, Lorelai

I loved this (Galatians 5) I am
dealing with a situation with a Christian friend. These verses
fortify and focus my eyes and heart to what the Lord wants to me to
do-say-LOVE. I appreciate your diligence with your studies
Pastor Ron. God's best for you! And we know that will happen right?
Love Sister Sue. 4/27/02

Dear Mr. Beckham; I just wanted to
take a minute to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your
spiritual inspiration. You have been very instrumental in my
survival over the last 16 months. I'm the U.S. Army soldier
stationed in Korea. I'm coming home on Tues. April 30th. I'm so
happy that this hardship tour is almost over and wanted to let you
know how thankful I truly am. I now live in AZ but I still have
family in LB so I will definitely be in to thank you in person very
soon. God Bless You and your wonderful word! Sincerely,
Scott. 4/26/02

Just a comment: As a
believer, it becomes easier (eventually easy) to be humble as you
establish your relationship with Christ and know who you are in
Christ. Because the freedom of knowing who you are in him, will
leave you know choice but to be humble, when you realize whose
Spirit we temple. Yvonne. 4/24/02

Ron, Thank you so much for your
commitment to this ministry. After talking with you, I thought I
would check out this website. Was I surprised at what I found.
In our office, I have provided an opportunity for all my employees
to spend 30 minutes every morning studying God's word and in prayer.
We were discussing what study program to use in studying God's word
as we were picking books of the bible and just reading.
Needless to say, after going thru this website, we have picked
Hosea, and go thru about 7 to 10 verses each morning. We faithfully
get together every morning at 7:30 to study and sure have
appreciated your insight when studying God's word. Thank you for
your faithfulness to God -- Jack 4/17/02

These condensed versions (the

own. Don H. 4/13/02

I have been gratified over the
months that I've been reading your work that you haven't fallen into
the church's habit of denigrating the law (read "Torah"), but have
actually been using "Jewish roots" hermeneutics, for the most part,
to parse your teachings. John. 4/13/02
|

Dear Ron: Here are a few
verses that seem to indicate that God does not always hear our
prayers. Maybe you can share with me some verses that says He is
always hearing our prayers. I look forward to your response.

What a blessed and truthful
message of freedom. Hope your Resurrection day was a blessing.
Everyone who is desiring to grow in Christ should be blessed by
this. There are so many things in the world which try to lure
us into being something we are not. Walking in freedom, truly
has to be a choice as well as loving command from Christ.
Shalom. 4/5/02

Thank you Pastor Ron, for that
lovely sermon I am going to pass it on to my friends also. Sometimes
when we are down and out like I was yesterday we Christians need
food like you just gave me to get through all those thorns that seem
to pass our way. Please keep sending those sermons to me also. There
is something else that came to me not long ago from a friend of mine
and I would like to ask you about it. They mentioned the time of
Adam and Eve and that most of us know of three sons Cane, Abel and
Seth. But where in the Bible does it say they had other children
like daughters and we know that Cane slew Abel. Where did the linage
go from there? They ask me if I knew if Adam and Eve had daughters
also and I could not answer that question. One thing that baffled me
was a question that I am not sure I want to ask but feel I must so
here goes. Did the sons and daughters multiply by way on incest? I
didn't know exactly how to ask that question or if I had it in my
powers to ask you that question. If you can help my friend and me by
shining some light on that question we would be grateful. Thank you
again. Carolyn. 3/26/02 (An answer was sent).

Ron, (Sermon "My Strength")
My only comment is the woman who was disappointed in the Pastor
reminded me of many people who forget that Pastors like all of us
are vessels. If the Pastor was praying for her or a group, the Lord
knew the names of each of the people and the expectation of the
woman should have been in the Lord answering the Prayer and not
putting her expectation in the Pastor who was offering the prayer.
It would seem to me that his prayer was no less effective because he
was praying to the one who answers prayer and knows every hair on
our heads and formed us before the foundation of the world.
Yvonne. 3/18/02

Ron, The Long Beach Area
Republican Party is having a Red, White, and Blue Texas Barbecue.
The keynote speaker has yet to be confirmed, first on the list of
possible speakers is Bill Simon. They asked who would be a
good minister to give the invocation, so naturally, I thought of
you. Please let me know if you are available and would be
interested in giving the invocation. Brian. 3/15/02

My Dear Ron & Genevieve, Praise
the Lord...How wonderful to see someone spreading the importance of
God's Agape love. You are too kind in your comments about me, but I
thank you for your kindness. The thing that has concerned me most as
I prepare to leave this world and to join Jesus Christ is that there
is someone who is continuing to tell the need for us to follow
Jesus' commandment. It seems that I can be at ease now that you two
are picking up the need. Thank you both so very, very much. I will
keep you and your Ministry in my prayers. Your brother in
Christ, Bill George. 3/6/02
|
 |
Ron, Bill George must be quite a
man. Thanks for getting me acquainted...Also significant to me were
your words: Would you die for Christ? Will you live for
Him? Will you give Him the best of the time you have and the
resources He has given you? These are challenging and
compelling. Jim. 3/6/02
