We work weekly with inmates at our local county jail. Bible
Studies, counseling and Sunday church services. Praise be to God for those who
have come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Even those who have been
released have come back to the area to help and be a witness. Any way, recently
we've had a guard who has been feeding those young converts with info about
predestination and once saved always saved. The once saved stuff I'm comfortable
dealing and explaining it. But the predestination stuff I'm not so confident.
I've been searching the Word and reading various writings about it yet I'm not
as knowledgeable about the scriptures that explained such deception. Any
suggestions? Thank You. Skip 10/13/08

This is a joyful update to let you know that Martha is now
free from jail and back home in Gurdaspur, Punjab. Praise the Lord! More
than 75 people prayed with her to accept salvation in Jesus Christ as she
ministered behind the walls to hurting and needy people in two separate
locations. Bryan 10/7/08

Please add the family of Wayne Black on your prayer list. He
passed away on Saturday. He was early 20's when he was 7years old he was hit by
a bus, and ended up severely disabled including serious seizure disorder. I had
worked with him, and his younger brother was friends with my son Joseph. His
brother came to school yesterday to tell me himself so I didn't just see it for
myself. His mother (and brother) are suffering terribly. Thank you for the
blessing of your love, support, and PRAYERS. C. 10/6/08

Greetings in Christ Love! Dearest Pastor Ron, It is really
good and a blessing to be taught by you. I have realized a great move and
improvement spiritually. I have always been printing your teachings and
forwarded them to my church committee, of which God's hand has been seen working
amongst us. Thus I took all that you wrote to me before the church board and
they approved that the Lord has sent you to work with them. They have so far
even organised for a pastors conference early next year whereby you will be the
Guest Speaker. May be you can let us know form you if that will be appropriate
for you. God bless you in Christ Love, Please greet all there. Hope to hear from
you real soon so that we can adjust on the arrangement of the conference. Yours
in Christ, Sister Schola 9/27/08

Hi Ron: How are you feeling? In reading this week's sermon, it
took me back to my precious little Bryan and his short time here on earth. The
last month before his death, he learned the Lord's Prayer. He loved the part of
walking through the valley of the shadow of death. Although he was only 4 years
old, he memorized the entire prayer. I was so proud of him. It was 20 years ago
this month that I lost him. It was 22 years ago this month that I lost my other
son. It seems as though it was just a short time ago. There are still days that
the grief comes up and hits me square on and the tears flow. I guess that's
always going to be. I miss them every single day of my life. Have a blessed
week. Diana 9/24/08

Dear Pastor Ron: I am going to be starting a Discipleship
class in October, and we will be going through Genesis to Revelation in a
Discipleship Journal in a year. Your studies in Genesis will come in handy.
Thank you very much, I enjoy reading your studies very much and this will add to
my studies. In Him, Marilyn 9/23/08

Ron Beckham, I'll continue to pray for your test. I'm asking
the Lord to give wisdom and accuracy to the technicians, the nurses, and the
physicians involved in giving you the test and analyzing the results. I pray
that, if this is a test where you swallow and/or are injected with nuclear
particles, that those elements are quickly flushed out of your body with no ill
effects. I'm asking for there to be peace all about you and that this stress
test gives you no stress. I'm asking our Father to regulate your heart and bring
all your systems into perfect working order. I'm asking all this in the name of
Jesus, who took up our infirmities and carried our diseases. God bless you and
give you sweet sleep. Melissa 9/17/08

Here are two new requests for women with breast cancer:
1. Roseann was notified this week that her biopsy came back positive for breast
cancer. She is going to meet with the doctors to determine the course of
treatment.
She lives in Nevada and does not have a strong family support system. So let's
pray for her to stay strong in this scary time and that she is not too fearful
of her treatment and that her family can come together in support and love to
help her in this time of need.
2. Sally is battling breast cancer. She is undergoing chemo now and the
treatments are taking a toll on her body. Please pray for complete healing.
Thanks and blessings! Jan 9/9/08

I was just browsing the internet and happened upon your site.
Maybe not by coincidence. I am from Massachusetts and I am requesting a prayer
not for myself but for a close friend of mine. Her name is Diane and she lost
her husband this past Sunday. She has a 16 year old daughter who is special
needs and will now have to care for her without him. He was a good and loving
man who took great care of his family and loved everyone. My heart goes out to
her and I would love as many prayers as possible for her to help her through
this. Thank you for all that you do. Jaine 9/6/08

Ron, you did a brilliant job summarizing "my last sermon" and
I am flattered that you would and could use it in your ministry. I am open to
talking with you about my sermons and having some of them shortened and shared
through Friday Study Ministries. Perhaps we should talk about it. My initial
thought is that I could send some your way and you could condense them to your
liking. God bless you in your work. Pastor Gary 9/4/08

My new tenant is a Mormon lady who has to have a biopsy of her
breast. I told her I would pray for her and she said "thank you." She commented
that "it was in the temple already." Since I'm not very familiar with the Mormon
religion and she was quite upset with her condition, I did not go into asking
questions or having a conversation about her religion. I know when we were in
Salt Lake city we tried to go into the temple but were told we could only go at
tour times. So we never got back to go. I have heard that the Mormons are part
of a "cult". She is a very sweet lady and I want to know what to say to her,
without offending her religion. I would like to put her on my prayer chain for
her biopsy... thanks, Diana 8/28/08

Hi Ron, Thanks for the new lists of prayer requests. I was
sorry to read that you were on it as well. I pray that the medication will
assist your heart working normally. A friend of mine has the same challenge; if
you would like to communicate with him, I could provide you with his phone
number and e-mail address. Please add yet another woman to the long list having
breast cancer. Her name is Robin; she will have surgery Wednesday 8/27. Please
pray for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery, comfort and peace of mind,
and that her husband will give loving support that she needs from him. (Robin is
the sister of a Cursillista from Christ Lutheran Church, Costa Mesa.) Blessings,

Hello, I just wanted to thank you for your absolutely awesome
website. My daughters, my mother and myself have started a bible study at our
home and during our first session, my youngest daughter, who is 9 and much
younger than her older sister who is 23 was lost and very upset afterwards
because she just didn't understand. She had looked forward to our bible study
sessions and to see her crying because it was just so over her head hurt me. I
immediately got online and searched for a site to use that would help her to
follow along with us and I came across your website on the Book of John, which
is where we decided to start. I sat down with my youngest and went back over
what we had read but this time with your explanations and she was much happier
as was I. I continued to read thru it myself and loved it. As a "new" bible
reader, (I was raised Catholic, and we never picked up a bible) it so helped me
understand things too. We will be using this website during our bible studies
now also. I just thank God that he directed me to this site. Thank you so much.

Dear Pastor Ron, Genevieve and beloved Prayer Warriors, Please
pray for my Sister-in-law, Martha, (Mary's sister.) Martha was admitted to ICU
today, in North Carolina. She has severe arthritic pain and treats herself by
dieting. Martha limits foods she believes cause her pain. She is down to under
80 lbs. Her daughter, Faith, called this morning to tell us that she had called
the Paramedics. Most of us believe that Martha has an eating disorder that is
out of control. Mary fears that her sister is dying. Mary is flying back to
North Carolina this morning to be with her sister and help her niece cope with
all of this. Please pray for safety for Mary as she travels, and wisdom as she
ministers to her family. Please pray for Martha (a believer) that she be healed
physically and emotionally. Prayers and blessings, Don 8/18/08

Thank you so much -- your continuing prayer for pioneer
evangelism in Punjab, and for Martha's encouragement, is being answered by our
Almighty God. We are receiving reports of hundreds of people per week
accepting salvation in Jesus Christ these past few weeks, in villages that
previously had no churches! Bryan 8/17/08

I must certainly obey the Spirit of God to inform you that the
set time for the Lord to favor you has surely come (Psalm 102:13)!!! He assures,
“Remember that you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; you
will not be forgotten by Me! I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your
transgressions, and like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed
you, and you will be Restored (ISAIAH 44:21-24)." Arise and experience the glory
of God! Love, Prayers and Blessings to you. Your Brother & Friend, Robert 8/16/08

Dear Ron: I was reading about Pastor Timothy Burdick last
night, and the fact that he is the "Minister of Abilities" because he is blind,
but still uses the computer on a program called "Jaws." Well interestingly
enough, I now have lost most of my eyesight due to stage II glaucoma, and
chronic Uviatis. I am prsently taking a course in "Jaws" at the ROP... You are
free to give him my E-mail address and my street address. Marilyn 8/15/08

I want to thank you for your prayers. My surgery went well
however I had some complications that kept me in the hospital for 3 weeks. I had
to have a second surgery to drain fluid from around my heart, developed a blood
clot that I am on medication to try to dissolve and had a problem with my heart
rate, which I am now on two medications to try to regulate. There is a chance it
might correct itself upon total healing in 5 months or so. Right now I am
extremely tired and trying to maintain a good attitude. I would appreciate your
continued prayer for a total healing. Thank you so much! Patty 7/23/08

I thank God for my children, our health, our home our jobs,
and the life we have in a place that's free. Sometimes it's easy to get caught
up in the hustle and bustle and what's important and gifted to us gets
overshadowed... Should you be free to Baptize Jacob on August 15th,16th, or 17th
we were hoping to get together then. If not we can wait. HE'S GETTING SO BIG
I'll have to buy a new outfit soon though :). He's now 9 months, old 24 pounds,
and wearing size 18-24 months. I think my younger sister, Nicole, wants to
discuss getting baptized with him. This is extra special to me since she's the
boys Godmother. Please get back to us when you get a chance. Take care and
God Bless. Amber 7/19/08

Dear Ron, I enjoy your Friday sermons in the email, keep up
the good work. One of my neighbor's is having some health issues, and his wife
told me that the doctors at the VA thought it might be related to Agent Orange
exposure. I recalled that Genevieve had been active with an Agent Orange support
group. It's possible that the VA already put them in touch, but I thought I'd
check to see if Genevieve had any suggestions. Brian 6/24/08

Beloved, you are special to the Lord your God; the Lord your
God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure to Him. The
Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you on merit; but because He loves
you, and because He keeps the oath which He swore to your fathers. He has
brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage,
from the hand of the enemy. Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God,
the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with
those who love Him and do His will (Deuteronomy 6:7-9). God Bless you. We
Love you... Robert 6/22/08

Although i could not make the interview, i have heard from
Shirlena that she really appreciated your interesting insights on religion and
the Internet... We are (if the Lord is willing) hoping to write articles and
eventually, a book on this topic. in the meantime, if you are interested, I have
attached two papers for your perusal. I would be happy to receive your feedback
and any further suggestions for our research. we really appreciate your
interesting insights and certainly look forward to hearing about more
innovations from the Friday Study Ministries. Blessings and warm regards,

I live in East Texas in an area that has a lot of farmland and
woodland. Believe it or not we have a panther problem, yes, black panthers.
There have been no attacks on humans as of yet but recently a panther cub showed
up in a neighbors garage. Farmers have had calves killed which they think were
by these "cats". Another neighbor was fishing in his pond with a friend when
they saw a panther come out of a tree and take down a deer. The "powers that be"
don't believe they exist in this area therefore nothing is being done. The thing
we know is if their is a cub there is a mating pair. I don't know how to ask you
to pray but please lift this situation up for us. I don't have a fear of this
but the people who found the cub in their garage have a small child. There have
been more sightings of the "cats" crossing roads etc. Thanks! Linda

I would appreciate your prayers for our situation here with
the administrator, who is apparently quitting as of the 27th of this month. The
place us apparently the worst shape as it ever has been in, and staff is
quitting right and left. Marilyn 6/15/08

Please pray for my family. My husband, Dax, was arrested a
little over a month ago...taken away from me and our 7 year old son, Luke...
We are devastated. Our hearts are broken...we love and miss him deeply... We can
no longer afford to live in our apartment... Praise God, though, Dax was on his
way back to the Lord before all this and has been renewed in Him...and knows he
has always had a calling from God to be a Pastor and leader, but, never heeded
that until now. He leads a Bible study in the jail and brought a young man to
Christ not too long ago.... God Bless you...thank you for your prayers,

Dear Pastor Ron, We have looked at your online church's
website and have it to be very interesting. The research project is jointly
conducted by Dr Shirlena Huang (National University of Singapore), Dr. Pauline
Hope Cheong (Arizona State University) and Dr Ben Lee (USC), and is a non-profit
academic study in three global cities. We are here in Los Angeles until this
weekend and hope we will have the opportunity to meet up with you to personally
interview you because of your expertise, pastoral experience and your innovative
use of the internet as a religious leader. Are you available to meet us on
Saturday june 14th, anytime after 11am? Dr. Pauline 6/13/08

Please pray for my daughter Tiffany. She quit a job where she
had a very abusive supervisor. Nine other people quit as well. She found another
job and now the former boss has called and told lies on her and got her fired.
This woman called my daughter-in-law, my husband, and told my daughter had bad
checks all over town and she was on drugs. All of this is lies. We live in a
small town and this has created a lot of problems. My daughter is a single
parent with two children she has to work. We need a miracle. How can anyone be
so cruel? Please keep us in your prayers. Jones 6/1/08
